Star Gaze Software ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Rehearse mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address - Used for account authentication and communication
- Display name - How you appear to other users in the app
- User role - Whether you are a coach or parent
1.2 Athlete/Child Information
Parents may add information about their children:
- Child's name - Used to tag training videos
- Child's age (optional) - For content appropriateness
Note: Children do not have their own accounts and cannot log in directly.
1.3 Video Content
When you use the App to record or upload training videos:
- Video files - Training videos you record or upload
- Thumbnail images - Preview images generated from videos
- Video metadata - Title, description, upload date, and tagged athletes
1.4 Comments and Feedback
- Comments - Text feedback on training videos
- Timestamps - Specific video times referenced in comments
1.5 Device Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions:
- Camera - To record training videos
- Microphone - To record audio with training videos
- Photo Library - To select existing videos for upload
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the App's functionality
- Enable coaches and parents to share training videos
- Facilitate communication between coaches and families
- Send important service-related notifications
- Improve and optimize the App
3. How We Store Your Information
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Authentication - Secure account management
- Cloud Firestore - Database for user profiles, comments, and metadata
- Firebase Storage - Secure storage for video files
All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Firebase infrastructure is hosted in secure data centers with industry-standard security measures.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Your data is only shared:
- With connected users - Coaches can see videos and information for athletes whose families have connected with them via invitation codes
- With service providers - Google Firebase for infrastructure services
- When required by law - To comply with legal obligations
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:
- Your profile information is deleted
- Videos you uploaded are deleted
- Comments you made are deleted
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access - Request a copy of your data
- Correct - Update inaccurate information
- Delete - Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent - Stop using the App at any time

7. Children's Privacy
The App is designed for use by adults (coaches and parents). Children's information is managed by their parents. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication
- Access controls limiting who can view your data
- Regular security reviews
